Throughout my extensive career in the hospitality sector, I have cultivated invaluable experiences and skills that now enable me to serve as the Cluster Executive Chief Steward at Hilton Hotels Makkah.
Over a decade of diverse experience across hotels and resorts has been the cornerstone of my career trajectory. My journey has encompassed a variety of roles in single and multi-site operations, exposing me to the intricate aspects of hotel management, opening new properties, and managing renovations. Each step has armed me with the hands-on operational experience essential for not just surviving but thriving in this competitive industry.
The Foundation of My Expertise
At Hilton Hotels Makkah, I have developed a substantial expertise portfolio that encompasses project management, recruitment and training, guest experience enhancement, quality assurance, and driving operational excellence. Constant learning has been a key aspect of my professional growth. I have achieved significant certifications, including ISO 22000:2018 and a Level 4 qualification in Managing Food Safety in Catering. With over 72 certifications in my repertoire, my commitment to staying updated and informed in this ever-evolving field is unwavering.
One of the standout accomplishments of my career has been the meticulous management of breakage control within my department. Through effective training programs and regular inventory checks, I have successfully reduced breakage to an impressive minimum level of just 1.52%. This achievement not only highlights the efficiency of our operations but also underscores the quality standards we strive to maintain in our service delivery.

Our commitment to operational excellence and cleanliness has not gone unnoticed. Consistent internal and external audits have placed our department in a favorable light, achieving a remarkable cleanliness score in the Brand Standard audit. Additionally, we have received maximum scores from both 2nd and 3rd party audits, reaffirming our dedication to maintaining exceptional service standards.
As a leader, I believe that professional development and team engagement are crucial. One of my proudest achievements as a leader has been maintaining zero turnover in my department over the past year. This accomplishment speaks volumes about the satisfaction of my team and reflects our collaborative spirit. The recognition I received for achieving a perfect score from the Global Training Management System (GTMS) showcases our commitment to continuous development and excellence.
Fostering Innovation and Sharing Knowledge
Innovation is essential in the fast-paced hospitality industry. I am excited to share that I recently published the "Stewarding e-book VI for Stewarding Teams Worldwide." This comprehensive resource serves as a guide, providing access to essential stewardship and operational documents that empower teams globally. Complementing this effort, I also updated the departmental website, ensuring my team members have easy access to vital information related to stewarding and operations. And developed digital cleaning checklist to avoid waste the paper to save the future environment These initiatives facilitate operational efficiency and collaboration across the board.
As I continue my journey within the hospitality sector, my focus remains steadfast on nurturing a culture of operational excellence, fostering professional growth, and implementing innovative practices that ultimately enhance the guest experience.
